I haven't used this product yet because it came all by itself with not a single piece of paper explaining how the board is to be used or what the benefits are, etc. I was so excited to learn about the boards and how it builds the core but I didn't reallly want to go to a website to learn about it. I wouldn't buy it as a gift unless they already have a board and know how to use it or you print off material from the website.

Well made, easier to use if your in bare feet. Not as easy as it looks, challenging - I really like it and my son has started using it as well.

 A fine board at a low price Feb 23, 2007
I have several balance boards, including the expensive "Extreme" (which is worth it). This one is an excellent one and has a low price. Hasn't broken and is lightweight. The wobble is not so sensitive that it will discourage you, yet is not overly easy either. I use it regularly and have not tired of it. Get rid of your sofa, and stand on one of these while you watch TV or read. You'll get strong ankles and be less likely to have falls. Falls account for 2 out of 5 nursing home admissions. Prevention is smarter than cure. Be proactive and work on balance now; this one has no faults that I can see. A good choice if you can have only one.
