Description

Inversion therapy is endorsed and recommended by doctors and hospitals as a way to strengthen your back, elongate your spine, and relieve the pressure on discs, ligaments, and nerve roots. In fact, studies have shown that muscle tension declines 35% within ten seconds of inversion, and that inverting as little as 25 degrees for even a few minutes a day can help relax tense muscles. The Inversion Pro provides padded, half-circle handlebar assists for easier inversion and easier return, leg lock features for extra security while inverted, a heavy steel construction frame, and skid resistant rubber floor protectors for maximum stability and security. The padded, half-circle assist handles are easier to grasp, and allow you to easily and smoothly change your inversion position. Instead of collars around your ankles, the Inversion Pro features the leg lock. The leg lock has less restrictive, yet fully secure heel holders along with foam pads that adjust and lock against the front of the ankle. A push-button lever releases or adjusts the tension to hold your ankles securely yet comfortably in place as you invert. Getting on and off the Inversion Pro is easy. The Inversion Pro adjusts to fit most heights with a height adjustment beam that is clearly marked in centimeters and inches. The Inversion Table folds for easy storage and is backed up by a five-year warranty on the frame and a 90-day warranty on all other parts. Assembled size: 63" tall x 32" wide Recommended Use: Invert for a few minutes at least twice daily to reduce muscle pain caused by stress. Use to reduce many forms of back pain. Use to improve lymphatic circulation.

5Negative Reviews not valid for this product  Jun 05, 2008
I must admit that I was influenced by the 3-star review on the Stamina Inversion Pro, but I am NOW glad that it did not stop me from buying this product.

The instructions WERE CLEAR AND PRECISE, except for the use of washers - - each bolt uses two (2)washers: one next to the head and the other next to the nut. I did NOT have any trouble assembling the unit (but I build model airplanes, so I am used to studying diagrams), and Stamina provides two neat little wrenches to tighten the nuts and bolts, so you DON'T have to use your own socket wrenches (which probably don't fit). The large handrails are secured with 2-locking knobs, so they can be easily removed for storing the inversion table in a closet or under a bed. (The 3-star reviewer seemed to think that was TOO MUCH trouble) But WHY would you put it in storage if you use it, as per the manual - - twice a day?

I found that I have to use the foot extension settings that are 4-inches BEYOND my height and my wife's height in order to balance the table as per instructions in the manual.

It remains to be seen whether this product will help my back or not, but my wife is helped by it in that it relieves the pain in her hip that she has been experiencing.

3Directions are awful  Jan 15, 2007
I ordered the inversion table and it arrived within a week, so I certainly can't complain about that. However it took both myself and my visiting son to put the thing together. The directions were simply awful. I have a good mind for 3 dimensional directions, and am very good about counting out parts first, making sure that all of them are there prior to beginning. The directions weren't clear on which of the bolts were to go in which area, so basically we had to do it by trial and error, to make sure we didn't have a really long bolt where it would cause problems. Then finding the parts to hook together was a problem. We'd match the picture, turn it, read the directions 3-4 times, decide they were talking about another part. Some were supposed to be labeled, but they weren't. It took close to 2 hours to get the thing together, and that did not include tightening all the bolts, which I finally did this weekend. That was also a problem, because none of my socket sets fit it. I have both metric and English measures. I ended up with wrenches and pliers, most frustrating.

I don't care for the plastic that covers the moving parts. It seems flimsy, but at least I guess nothing will get caught in the parts. As for hanging upside down, I was desperate for something to ease the pain in my back and it does help. I just think the company needs a bit of quality control by an outsider to help re-write the instructions. I don't care for the large 'arms' that help you raise up again, they keep it from being easily storable. Would I buy it again, probably not. I saw another advertised this weekend that appeared simpler and for a lot less money.

4Good for Price  Dec 01, 2006
Received the unit with only one small plastic part broken (insert for foot extension bar). Otherwise, quality was very good for the price.

Word to the wise if you are planning to go fully inverted on a regular basis...consider the boots instead of the normal ankle clamps.
